Mike
Lead Operator/Consultant
Mike and his wife Pam moved to Sonora in 1976. He was hired in 1986, by the Crystal Falls/Cedar Ridge Water Company, which started his career in water treatment.
In 1990, the company was purchased by Tuolumne Regional Water District (TRWD), whose name was soon changed to Tuolumne Utilities District (TUD). Mike has treated Twain Harte Valley Mutual Water Company’s water for the past 34 years.
Darren Vallelunga
Operator/Consultant
Darren Vallelunga was born and raised in Twain Harte. He graduated from Summerville Union High school and received a degree in Administration of Justice from Santa Rosa Junior college. Joining Tuolumne Utilities District in 2020, he spent 1 year as a Water Distribution Operator before transitioning to his current role as a Water Treatment Operator for the past 3 years. Beyond work, Darren finds joy in family moments with his wife, Shiloh, and newborn, Bowie.
